Senior QA Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced senior QA engineer to oversee our quality assurance team. You will be required to oversee all aspects of software and product testing within the company. This may include developing test strategies, drawing up test documents, identifying faults, and reviewing QA reports. You would be required to include designing and implementing tests, debug, define corrective actions, review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.

Technical Expertise

1. 5-7 years of experience with manual end to end testing
2. Hands-on Experience in STLC, Manual testing concepts, methodologies, process, defect management cycle
3. Good experience working on agile testing methodologies
4. Added advantage if test automation experience with test automation tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Junit, Appium, TestNG, Maven or Jenkins or any CI/CD tool is an added advantage
5. Expertise in testing both UI and backend RESTful APIs
6. Expertise in understanding databases, create and execute SQL queries for validations and assertions
7. Experience in cross browser compatibility & responsive design testing
8. Knowledge of Bug Tracking tools like Jira, Mantis, Bugzilla
9. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
10. Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
11. Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters
12. Leading the QA team in designing QA test procedures
13. Overseeing the drafting of testing documents
14. Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process
15. Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures
16. Conducting analysis checks on product specifications
17. Reviewing Quality Assurance reports
18. Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the market
19. Responding to requests from the design team and management
